In the day before Iieth had received a letter on her desk; upon inspection it was an invitation to an exclusive cross country tournament in a location she had never heard of before. There were promises of grand prizes and fierce competition. There were instructions to follow a path through the woods. you would have to ride your horse to get to the event as the path was not cut large enough for vehicles.

It was evening when they arrived. The sun was hanging low in the sky and the giant stallion pawed heavily at the trailer. Ieth quickly tacked him and packed a few things in bags under the saddle cloth and one of her riding cloaks around herself before beginning down the darkening trail. She wanted to get to.. wherever she was going before it became too dark.

I can't believe how much fun I'm having with it. It's cool because the setting is similar to where I was going to have them anyway, but this gives me a story line to play with as well instead of fumbling around like I usually do
